Conveniently located off I-87, between Lake George and Saratoga Springs, West Mountain Ski Area is the place to go for day and night skiing and snowboarding, snow tubing, and learn-to-ski lessons during winter.
Experience Winter Fun at West Mountain
An established ski community with a family-friendly atmosphere, West Mountain is the premier choice for an authentic upstate experience on the slopes. With new chairlifts, expanded terrain, and 100% snowmaking capabilities, West Mountain continues to evolve to meet the needs of families as well as skiing and riding loyalists.
The ski area features trails for all skill levels with chairlifts located at the Main Lodge and the Northwest Lodge. All of the trails are lighted, so you can visit West during the day or at night under the stars.
For even more excitement on the mountain, you can check out the Snow Tubing Park, which has four upper lanes and six lower lanes, all of which are accessible by the moving magic carpet ride. Just hop on your tube and let the moving carpet bring you to the top of the hill.
