Visit the Retail Store at The Old Hitching Post

You can find Nettle Meadow's retail location at "The Old Hitching Post" in Lake Luzerne. This 14,000-square-foot building was constructed in the late 1930s and was originally a dining hall for one of the many Lake Luzerne dude ranches. It's served as a bar, hotel, general store, and more, and now it's a cheese store and tasting room.

You'll find carefully-selected cheese, cheese boards, goat milk soap, jams and jellies, maple, honey, charcuterie, pickles, olive oils, vinegars, artisan chocolates, and more. Come for a cheese tasting to sample the wide variety of pure and mixed goat, sheep, and cow's milk cheese made in-house.

Their hours are 12pm to 4pm Thursday, and 10am to 4pm Friday to Sunday.
