Make your last minute plans to visit Lake George for your New Year’s Celebration! For those of you that have not visited in the winter, now is a perfect time to see the snow all around us, except for the roads! The State, Counties, Towns, Cities, and Villages do a terrific job clearing the snow from our roadways to insure safe travel – hats off to all of them and a GIANT thank you!
Fireworks cruises on the lake, fireworks over the lake, polar plunge into the lake – would you like to pick one or do all three? The Polar Plunge is the kick off for the winter carnival – your donations provide funds for the local charities. This year’s Polar Plunge will take place at Million Dollar Beach at 1:00pm. I won’t be plunging, but I’ll be watching! Have fun everyone!
Monday we will enjoy a high of 30′ and a low of 19 – very warm compared to the forecast for New Year’s Day – a high of 25′ with a low of -7′ and snow flurries scattered throughout the day.
If you can’t make it for your New Year’s Celebration, make plans to come in February for the winter carnival – fun for all and it looks like we’ll have snow this year!
Happy New Year to all of you from all of us – we wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! And remember, It’s Always Time to Visit Lake George!
