Events During Spring

Please note, the Elvis Festival has been cancelled for 2020. Welcome the King back to Lake George with live entertainment, cruises, and more June 2 - 6, 2021!
Please note, Americade has been cancelled for 2020. Look forward to the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally June 7 - 12, 2021!
Please note: The LARAC June Arts Festival has been postponed to August 29 to 30, 2020. Browse one-of-a-kind items from local artists and enjoy art demonstrations, kids activities, and more.
March means maple in the Adirondacks! Head to Thurman for tastings, tours, and more, and relish in all the North Country has to offer during this sweet season.
Please note, the Hudson River Whitewater Derby has been postoned for 2020 and the new date has not yet been announced. This is the area's longest-running whitewater derby.

Events During Summer

Please note, the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival has been postponed to the fall for 2020. Sample local and regional wines, beers, spirits, and food in an open-air setting.
Please note that ATF's 2020 summer season in Glens Falls has been cancelled. Check out their new fundraising campaign, ATF on demand for exclusive content!
Please note: The Smoke Eaters Jamboree has been postponed for 2020. Organizers are working on a fall date. This event comprises a carnival, fireworks, live music, and of course delicious barbecue fare.
Please Note: The Stony Creek Mountain Days Festival has been cancelled for 2020. Event organizers hope to return this popular lumberjack-centered event to Stony Creek for 2021.
Due to COVID-19, the originally planned in-person 2020 Lake George Music Festival has been adapted into a Virtual Festival (September 13-18) as well as Drive-In Series (September 19-20) at the Festival Commons.
Please note, the Lake George Triathlon Festival has been cancelled for 2020. This is an Olympic-distance triathlon and half Iron triathlon that Adirondack Race Management has been hosting since 2010.
Please note, the Adirondack Nationals Car Show, which traditionally takes place on the weekend after Labor Day, has been cancelled for 2020.
Please note: The Lake George Arts Project made the decision to cancel the 2020 Lake George Jazz Weekend which normally brings in top-notch jazz musicians for free performances.

Events During Fall

Please note, the Adirondack Balloon Festival has been cancelled for 2020. You can see hundreds of hot air balloons fill the sky and enjoy associated events September 23 to 26, 2021.
Did you know? Warrensburg hosts the World's Largest Garage Sale! Although the 2020 event is cancelled, you can mark your calendar for October 1, 2, and 3, 2021.
Please note, the 2020 Taste of the North Country has been cancelled. This hugely popular event serves as a fundraiser for the Glens Falls Kiwanis Club and is an excellent opportunity to sample the amazing food this region has to offer.
See short films, web series, children's films, and documentaries. Check out panel discussions, meet-and-greet events, and parties. It all happens at the Adirondack Film Festival, hosted by the Adirondack Theatre Festival. 
Although the King George Fishing Derby is cancelled for 2020 look forward to fun competition and thousands of dollars in prizes at the 2021 event.

 

Events During Winter

Lake George Village comes alive with light for the holidays during Lite Up The Village.
Take the plunge if you dare! The Polar Plunge is a New Years Day tradition in Lake George.
Weekends in February are Winter Carnival time, featuring tons of fun for the whole family!
