When to Go Leaf Peeping
Mid- to late-October is typically when foliage reaches its peak in the Lake George region. Peak foliage does vary. Higher elevations, such as in the High Peaks, reach peak foliage sooner than Lake George, while areas south towards Saratoga Springs come a little bit later.
