The campground was fantastic and we had a great time despite the rain. The only complaint we had was our cabin was infested with bugs and got into our food and we had to throw away a couple hundred dollars of food away due to our food infested with the bugs. They really need to at least spray down the cabins or around the vicinity of the cabin to prevent this from happening again. Was very upset and frustrated that we had to throw away so much food. Thought we could save money so we can spend more at the resort but guess not!

Thank you for your review. Our goal is to make sure every guest has the best experience possible. We do have preventive maintenance for each and every cabin weekly for outdoor life and strive to minimize any intrusion from bugs. However, bugs love sugar and crumbs and we are not able to control all external influences as we are located in the middle of the Adirondack park. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope you return in the future.
Very disappointed in this campground. First, the sites we chose were changed which separated our group. Second the leash laws and quiet hours are not enforced. The neighboring campsite's dog would visit our site and aggressively bark at us and any time you walked by the campsite the dog would run at you barking wildly. Campers are up until the wee hours of the morning, talking loudly and causing a general ruckus. Thirdly, the mosquitos are dreadful. We used bug spray, citronella, and foggers to make the situation tolerable. I have camped from Maine to California as well as internationally. This is by far the worst camping experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this campground.
This park is the best adventure i ever had in my life. My husband, six children and myself had a blast. The people and staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabins are beautiful and clean. The pool and park was clean. The activities are super fun. The coach was great!! The dj was amazing!! My whole stay was wonderful!! Definitely coming back!!
This park was a major disappointment. It is old, run down and poorly managed. Everything was either dirty or didn't work. Our reservation was botched and the staff could not have cared less. The "sports park" is some dirt with a few scraggly weeds and the "nature trail" is a road with tent camping. You would not want to step foot in the green"river." Do not waste your vacation at this park.
Around 15 years ago I stayed at the campground with my family. My kids were very young. I left my wedding ring - ruby & diamond ring with an insert wedding band - in the shower. It was never turned in. I lost a part of my life that day. Reaching out again.
Not happy with Lake George Escape and Thousand Trails. It's like a bait and switch! Escape gave Thousand trails our email last year, we listened to the presentation in their campground, we signed a FOUR year contract, and now they are saying after only a year, that they are not going to allow us to camp with what was presented! We have been going there for ten years and camp with the spring and fall weekender packages. (7 weekends in the spring and 5 in the fall). They said (and we asked repeatedly) that these packages would be included for four years guaranteed. Now they called and said they will not be honoring this after only a year. Now we're stuck paying for the next three years this thousand trails membership and they want FULL price for the weekender packages on top of the thousand trails fees! About 1700!!!!! What a scam!!!
