Overview

An authentic log cabin resort. Your first glimpse reveals towering pines, inviting log cabins with fireplaces, a massive main lodge, well groomed five acre grounds, inviting pool and relaxing beach. In short, rustic Adirondack elegance.

Welcome to Alpine Village Resort, located directly on the shores of Lake George, just a half mile from Lake George Village.

Real log cabins with working fireplaces, 2 bedroom kitchen units, and lake view rooms, at some of the most reasonable prices on the lake. Relax on our sandy beach, swim in the solar heated pool or lake, take out a canoe or rowboat. We also offer BBQ pits and picnic tables, table tennis, or just relax with a good book on the porch overlooking the lake. Breakfast is also available on the property.

If you're looking for a quaint old-fashioned vacation in a rustic log cabin, this is the place.

Please note the Alpine Village is closed from November 1st thru May 1st.

34 YRS. AND STILL COMING. HAVE WATCHED YEARLY IMPROVEMENTS. BROUGHT MY CHILDREN WHEN BABIES, NOW THEY ARE BRINGING THEIR BABIES. ERNIE AND LILLIAN ARE FRIENDS TO ALL. ONCE YOU PULL IN THE DRIVEWAY YOU ARE IN A DIFFERENT PLACE. NO MORE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE. NOW WE GO OFF SEASON AND IN SEASON, RENTING MANY CABINS FOR THE FAST GROWING FAMILY. TEIR SONN JAY WORKS HARD AS DOES ERNIE. MARIE IS SWEET AND RUNS THE DINING ROOM FOR BREAKFAST. EVEN THE CLEANING STAFF WELCOMES YOU. HOPE THE TRADITION CONTINUES. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE. PAULA

It's not a fancy chain or high-end luxury hotel,
it's a log structure Adirondack resort that was built in the early 1900's and well maintained.
Some stuff is a bit dated but that adds to the ambiance. The owner, Ernie, fits perfectly to resort.
House keeping it tops and the water pressure /hot water supply are they best we have EVER experienced. We will be back, often!

Horrible....eom
