Weekly Fireworks & Music
NOTE: The weekly fireworks and free entertainment have been canceled for summer 2020.
The village is the perfect spot for summertime fun! Head to Shepard's Park Ampitheatre for the best summer events including free live music and fireworks. Bring the kids along for free entertainment and fun with magicians, jugglers, and bounce houses.
Trolley Rides
The Lake George trolley is one of our summer favorites that is fun for the whole family! Greater Glens Falls Transit operates the trolley service in the Lake George area during the summer.
Mini-Golf
Mini-golfing in the village is definitely a summer favorite! Lake George is home to some of the best mini-golf and full golf courses. Golf is the perfect outing, whether you're taking the whole family or going on a date night.
Steamboat Rides
Steamboat rides are a summer favorite in the Lake George Village! The Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of cruises on their 3 large ships. Enjoy sightseeing trips along with lunch, dinner and brunch cruises! Lake George Shoreline Cruises are also a great option, and are available for a variety of events. You'll have a memorable cruise surrounded by sparking blue waters, perfect for a sunny day with the kids or a date for two.

Are you a fan of The King? Lake George is home to the annual Elvis Festival each spring! This top event features everything from tribute artists to memorabilia.
Americade
One of the biggest spring events in the village is Americade - the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally! Each year, Americade draws thousands of riders and passengers to the village for events, exhibits, and vendors.
Fall Favorites

Oktoberfest & Fall Festival
Kick off the fall season with the annual Lake George Oktoberfest & Fall Festival! A local and visitor favorite, the festival features food, music, arts & crafts, fireworks and more! Get into the fall spirit with German music and Bier Gardens during this family-friendly event.
Leaf Peeping
Leaf peeping is definitely a fall favorite in the village! People come from far and wide to see the magnificent colors of the foliage, eager to get a great photo for a keepsake. Head to the village during the third week in October (weather dependent) when the fall colors will be at their peak.
Polar Plunge For Special Olympics
The water is getting cold, so why not take the plunge? The annual Lake George Polar Plunge for Special Olympics New York is a fall favorite within the village, when participants take a cold dip at Shepard's Park Beach. Hundreds of participants are involved each year, so pack a towel and some warm clothes, and get ready to jump in!
Fall Scenic Cruise
Looking for a relaxing scenic tour? Why not try a fall foliage scenic cruise aboard a Lake George steamboat! You'll be able to see the fall foliage in a whole new way, from the chilly waters of the lake. Truly a fall favorite, this is a perfect event for a relaxing date night to enjoy the crisp air, amazing views, and great company.

Snowshoeing in Battlefield Park
Looking for a relaxing winter afternoon? Snowshoeing in Battlefield Park is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the beauty of winter in the village! Battlefield Park is a great park for activities all year round, including jogging, kite flying, picnicking and, of course, snowshoeing!

Tubing at the Recreation Center
Ready for some great winter fun? Head to the Lake George Recreation Center for a day of tubing down a steep hill! Perfect for ages five and up, tubing is a fun family outing during a chilly afternoon. Save the hot cocoa for your reward when you arrive home - the steep hike up to the top of the hill will keep you plenty warm!
