Looking to escape the summer heat? Head to one of Lake George's great beaches. Grab your suits and sunscreen, and maybe some buckets and shovels, and get ready for some fun in the sun.

There are beaches all along Lake George that each offer different things. If you want to eat some good food while you are at the beach, check out Million Dollar Beach where a new snack shop, The Lemonade Parlor, has recently opened.

Looking for something to excite even the biggest adrenaline junkie? Try a parasailing adventure and experience the beauty of Lake George in a whole new (heart-pumping) way!   

If parasailing is too high for you, then stay on the water and rent a boat or a jet ski using one of Lake George's many rental vendors.

These weekly firework shows will make your vacation a little more special! Grab a spot by the lake between Shepard Park Beach and Million Dollar Beach to get the best view.

 The Lake George Arts and Craft Festival from August 2-4 at Charles R. Wood Park, features over 100 artists, live music and food. Come for fun for the whole family!

From August 11-22 enjoy the Lake George Music Festival. Set in a historic and scenic location, the newly renovated Carriage House at Fort William Henry, this festival showcases chamber music and orchestral concerts featuring both traditional masterworks and new compositions.
