Whether you’re a fan of steak, seafood, pub grub, pizza, or all of the above, Lake George is home to many fantastic dining options. In celebration of these local restaurants, the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB has announced a new two-week format for their semi-annual Lake George Region Restaurant Week.
Mark Your Calendar for the Fall Lake George Region Restaurant Appreciation Weeks
In place of the week-long promotions that are typically held in June and September, the Lake George Chamber will showcase apple and pumpkin-themed food and drinks as well as hard-working restaurant staff during the new Fall Lake George Region Restaurant Appreciation Weeks. According to a press release, this two-week celebration will feature 15 restaurants from Lake George, Cleverdale, Queensbury, and Glens Falls, and each participant will offer a mix of beverages, appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
This year, participating restaurants have the option of offering a prix fixe menu, but it is not required. The event will take place on the following weeks with specified menu themes:
- Week 1: September 13 – 19, 2020 (Apple-Themed Week)
- Week 2: September 20 – 26, 2020 (Pumpkin-Themed Week)
Restaurants are still operating at 50% indoor capacity, and face coverings are required when not seated. Please call ahead of time to make a reservation if possible.
A Celebration of Our Local Restaurants
The Fall Lake George Region Restaurant Appreciation Weeks will be an excellent time to experience delicious cuisine and support local restaurants. During the event, the Lake George Chamber will showcase the restaurant staff who have been working extra hard to provide safe and satisfying dining experiences to customers.
In addition, customers who dine at participating restaurants and post photos of their meals, beverages, or gift card purchases on Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter and include the hashtag “#DineLGR” will be eligible to win a $25 gift card. Each participant is offering a gift card, so there will be 15 chances to win.
