29th Annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show – Thursday, September 7 – Sunday, September 10
The cars are coming! This weekend is the 29th annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show in Lake George, and the schedule of events includes a large vendor area, classic cars cruising on Canada Street, Fort William Henry Museum tours, and much more. It is fun for the whole family!
26th Annual Adirondack VetteFest Weekend – Friday, September 8 – Sunday, September 10
Another car show and celebration will be taking place in the nearby Town of Queensbury – the annual Adirondack Vettefest Weekend. This festival will feature an Adirondack Road Tour, a “Shine and Show” Car Show, live entertainment, and more. The event is presented by Adirondack Corvettes.

Get ready for the second Lake George Restaurant Week of 2017! Starting this Sunday, you can visit participating restaurants in the Lake George Region and enjoy a special three-course dinner for just $20.17, not including tax or gratuity.
Lake George Bar Crawl – Friday, September 8 & Saturday, September 9
Have a blast this weekend by joining up with the Lake George Bar Crawl. The bar crawl will take place on Friday night and Saturday night and include group games, live music and dancing at each Lake George venue, exclusive drink discounts, and more.
The Cheese Tour with Wine & Beer – Saturday, September 9 & Sunday, September 10
Take a wonderful Cheese Tour through Washington County this Saturday and Sunday and taste a wide range of food, wine, and beer. This 11th annual self-guided tour will include stops at six participating farms and producers in Washington County. Drive through the countryside and experience the region’s cheese, food, and drinks!
Creativity Uncorked! Paint & Sip – Saturday, September 9
Discover your creative side as you sip your favorite craft beverage during a Paint & Sip session at Gore Mountain. The workshop includes materials, instruction, snacks, one beverage, and a scenic gondola ride. The cost is $49, or $35 for 17/18 Gore Mountain season pass holders.

Double H Ranch: Camp Challenge Ride & Run – Saturday, September 9
Don’t miss out on Double H Ranch’s 2017 Camp Challenge Ride and 5k Trail Run this Saturday! Raise funds for this local nonprofit by taking on the 30-mile bike route or the fun 5k running trail. Registration is $30 in advance or $35 the day of the event. There is a fundraising commitment for the bike ride, but not for the trail run.
Glens Falls Hospital Fall Into Fitness 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run – Saturday, September 9
Help support Amanda’s House, a temporary home for patients and families who have traveled a distance to be treated at Glens Falls Hospital, by participating in the Fall Into Fitness 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run at The Great Escape in Queensbury. Enjoy a run through the theme park and raise funds for this local organization.
Tour de Daggett – Sunday, September 10
Take a trip to the Daggett Lake Campsites in Warrensburg this Sunday for the Tour de Daggett, a bike ride in support of children with cancer. Riders can choose between a 65-mile tour of the area and a 20-mile trip. Registration begins at 7:30am. Funds raised through the event will go toward the Rosie’s Love charity.

Plan a road trip north of Lake George to Otis Mountain in Elizabethtown for the Otis Mountain Get Down music festival! This weekend-long festival will include performances by over 20 artists, and you can expect to hear a mix of genres with an emphasis on quality, diversity, and spirit.
