The following photo was taken of the Highliner Charter fishing boat last Saturday docked on Lake George at sun-up. Isn’t it just breathtaking? Warm. Serene. Majestic. Glorious. Blissful. I could honestly think of at least 1,000 words to describe its beauty. I love it!
Special thanks to Justin Mahoney for sending the photo to us so we could share. Captain Justin Mahoney is a New York state licensed fishing guide who owns Highliner Charter Fishing and has a knack for getting some of the biggest landlocked salmon, lake trout, large mouth bass and small mouth bass you’ve ever seen.
Justin also runs his own fishing blog here on LakeGeorge.com — Lake George Fishing Guide
— where he shares current fishing conditions on Lake George, photos of
recent catches and more. Most of his current photos involve a pair of
hands holding a giant glistening fish in the sunshine, which are
impressive in their own right, but for me, they don’t have the same
impact as the one featured above.
Nevertheless, if you and your buddies and/or family are interested in going on a chartered fishing excursion, you will be in good hands with Captain Justin Mahoney. If you are just looking to soak up some sunshine or maybe do some cliff jumping, check out his other business: Lake George Island Adventures.
Hope you enjoyed the photo! Doesn’t it make you want to get out on the lake? How long has it been since you were on the waters of Lake George? Too long?
What word would you use to describe the photo?
