Lake George wouldn’t be the same without all of the fun and kitschy landmarks and attractions. With its 32 tiki statues and modern yet nostalgic design, The Tiki Resort is a well-known contributor to the area’s charm.
But did you know that the resort is also home to an authentic Polynesian Dinner Show? How cool is that!
The Waikiki Supper Club happens most evenings during July and August, with the exception of Thursdays, Sundays and special event nights.
At the show you can expect to see hula girls (and hula guys!) performing dances from the islands in traditional attire.
The performers are all family – three generations participate in the show!
There are no bad seats in this house. Take it from us, we were in the back left corner of the room and still had a fantastic view.
Audience participation is welcome at this show! All of the kids in the room were given the opportunity to get up on stage and try their hand at spinning poi, and the host recognized guests that were celebrating anniversaries and birthdays.
The show ended with and incredible fire performance!
The performer spun fire around his body at incredible speeds, held it against his bare skin, and pulled off other maneuvers that you should definitely NOT try at home!
If you’re looking for a unique activity or attraction to try next time you’re in Lake George during the summer, make sure The Waikiki Supper Club is on your itinerary!
