Get a Glimpse Into Glens Falls History
When you wander the halls of The Shirt Factory, you'll see signage, posters, and items like old sewing machines that pay homage to the building's rich history of shirt- and dress-making that dates back to the late 1890s. In 1902, a fire devastated the building, and the factory was reborn as the McMullen-Leavens Shirt Factory. The Shirt Factory as we know it today was purchased by the current owner in 1999, and has grown from about 20 tenants to nearly 100.
