New Lake George Wednesday Markets This Summer

Adirondack Pub & Brewery and High Peaks Distilling are launching the Lake George Wednesday Market in response to the cancellation of Shepard Park's usual farmers' markets.

The market will run every Wednesday from June 19 to August 2 at High Peaks Distilling's parking lot, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., including a happy hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will feature vendors, food trucks, entertainment, and pony rides.

Local producers can showcase their goods for free by filling out a Google form to secure a vendor space. Free parking is also available for all vendors and attendees.

The addition reflects the resort's commitment to enhancing guest experiences, alongside recent renovations and new attractions this summer.

Lake George Bagels Set to Open Memorial Day Weekend

Kerry Smith is bringing his culinary venture, Lake George Bagels, to 176 Canada Street in Lake George. Originally launched in Glens Falls in 2022, the bagel shop will offer fresh-made bagels, homemade cream cheeses, and more.

Anticipate a soft opening ahead of the official start on Memorial Day weekend. This new location promises to become a favorite for both locals and visitors.

The shop will be open seven days a week, opening from 7 a.m. to either 3 p.m. or 4 p.m., and will open 8 a.m. on weekends.
