Start a New Tradition at Lake George Winter's Dream

New to Lake George for the 2023-2024 winter season is Lake George Winter's Dream, a fully immersive experience. Located at the Fort William Henry Historic Fortress, Lake George Winter's Dream will transport you back in time, making you feel all the winter magic you felt as a kid.

An array of lights, original music, and projections will create a place for people of all ages to come together and be mesmerized by the show.

Enter a Dazzling Wonderland at Winter Realms

The Lake George Ice Castles that have been bringing thousands of visitors to the area over the past few years is being reimagined! Containing all the winter magic that the Ice Castles held, but being more weather resilient, Winter Realms is set to become a can't-miss event.

Winter Realms will include an outdoor ice skating rink, Santa's Village, a Polar Ice Bar, and more. It will be open November 24, 2023 through November 25, 2024, 4:00pm-10:00pm, Thursday - Sunday along with special holiday dates.

Groove to the Beat at the Funky Ice Fest

Get into the groove of the winter season at the Funky Ice Fest at Adirondack Brewery. Funky Ice Fest takes place over two weekends, with the next dates scheduled for January 19-20 and January 26-27, 2024. You can typically expect to find handcrafted cocktails, local beers, food specials, ice sculptures, and much more at this family-friendly event.

Chill Out at a Local Ice Bar

Nothing says winter in the Lake George area like attending an ice bar! Available only for a limited time, an ice bar is definitely something you will want to put on your calendar this year. Last season Lake George alone featured half a dozen ice bars, so keep an eye out for when dates are announced.

Experience Snowflakes and Smiles at the Lake George Winter Carnival

Visiting the area during the annual Lake George Winter Carnival is a must, as it takes place every weekend in February. From BBQ cook-offs to pony rides, to even a "dog's got talent contest," this celebration has it all. Their 2024 schedule has not come out for this season yet, but you can see previous years online to get an idea of events and activities you will want to attend.

Watch the Sky Light Up at Fire on the Mountain

Fireworks are not just for the summer months in the Lake George area. Don't miss the annual fireworks show at West Mountain during Fire on the Mountain on February 17, 2024. Highlights of the event include live music from 7PM-11PM, a torchlight parade starting at 9PM, and then the main event, fireworks, starting after the parade!

Enjoy Fun Activities at Hague Winter Weekend

Whether you are looking for a whole weekend of events or just a day trip activity, the Hague Winter Weekend is the perfect place to be. Traditionally featuring events like the frozen axe toss, chainsaw competition, fireworks, live music, and food competitions, Hague Winter Weekend has something for the whole family. Come and join us this winter at the Adirondack Brewery Barrel Fest from 1PM-4PM on March 2, 2024. Indulge in barrel-aged beer, cider, wine, and more unique beverages all while enjoying live music and a massive bonfire. Say Goodbye to the Season at the End of Winter Carnival

Before winter transitions into spring, have some fun at the annual Ticonderoga End of Winter Carnival. This weekend-long event includes a variety of activities, such as kid-friendly entertainment, carnival games, s'mores, and a fireworks display.
