TR Restaurant’s Texas Chili & More: Award-Winning Flavors

When it comes to cozy, satisfying fare, TR’s Restaurant at the Holiday Inn Resort delivers all the winter comfort you could ask for. Visitors rave about the rich and savory French Onion Soup and the classic Chicken Parm, served in generous portions and cooked to perfection.

And we'd be remiss not to mention, their award-winning Chili is a must-try, as TR's took home first place at the 2025 Lake George Winter Carnival Chili Cook Off, beating out 18 other entries!

The Lagoon: Double Award Winner for Mac & Wings

The Lagoon took home two big wins at the 2025 Lake George Winter Carnival, topping both the Mac & Cheese and Chicken Wing Cook Offs - they also have Lobster Mac & Cheese on the menu! If that doesn't earn them a spot on your winter dining list for Lake George, their pizza and rest of the menu will.

Step inside The Garrison and you're greeted by a rustic, cozy interior, excellent for escaping the cold. And the food? Rich, indulgent, and exactly what comfort food lovers are looking for.

A top recommendation is the 'Dacks Mac & Cheese, which snagged third place in the 2025 Mac & Cheese Cook Off.  Guests also praise the Chicken Parmesan and Garrison Wings, calling them "tasty," "filling," and "perfect for winter." And, you'll love their hot handheld items like the Rueben.

The Barnsider: Classic BBQ & Loaded Mac Dishes

The Barnsider Smokehouse offers four varieties of mac and cheese: Sweet Corn Mac, House Macaroni and Cheese, Loaded Mac Casserole, and Memphis Mac Casserole. Mac and cheese is also available as a side! The crispy Potato Skins and their Bone-In and Boneless Wings are also fan favorites.

For bold flavors just north of Lake George in Bolton Landing, Fredrick's Restaurant is the place to go. The wings are a prime attraction here, with flavors like BBQ, hot, "hoops," and the local favorite, "semi-hoops."

Adirondack Brewery: Cozy Vibes & Unique Comfort Food

Adirondack Brewery - it's more than great beer! This spot offers a cozy, Adirondack-style interior that's great for winter evenings.

The Log Jam Restaurant: Visit After Shopping at the Outlets
