When summer ends and the crowds of Lake George tourists return home, Adirondack Pub & Brewery gears up for fall festivities. The local brewpub is always hosting fun events, and during autumn, you can look forward to two Oktoberfest celebrations and more. Find out why you won’t want to miss these annual events below!
Enjoy Good Food & Good Times at Lake George Oktoberfest
Every fall, the Adirondack Pub & Brewery hosts the largest downtown festival in Lake George: the Lake George Village Oktoberfest. During 2022, this family-friendly event will take place over Columbus Day Weekend. And the best part? Admission is free!
Lake George Oktoberfest completely shuts down Main Street and features a 75-foot food and beer tent, live German music, and between 50-75 local vendors. Visit downtown Lake George on October 7th, 8th, or 9th to listen to music, grab a beer, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Kids are more than welcome at this event, and we’re sure they’ll love the carnival rides and amazing festival food.
Prost! The Celebration Continues at Adirondack Brewery Oktoberfest
This 21+ event is styled after a traditional German Oktoberfest and features 30 different breweries, including, of course, Adirondack Pub & Brewery. There will be nonstop music and dancing, unlimited wine, cider, and beer sampling, and fun games and competitions at this adult event, which will take place on October 15th, 2022.
Every year, ticket proceeds to the Adirondack Brewery Oktoberfest benefit a worthy charity. This year’s proceeds will go to the Saratoga Springs Lions Club’s Camp Abilities Program. Camp Abilities Saratoga is a one-week sports camp for blind, visually impaired, and deaf/blind children. The camp gives these kids the opportunity to enjoy a week of camp tailored to their specific needs—at no cost to them.
What could be better? You get to have tons of fun with friends, both new and old, enjoy a variety of craft beverages, and support an amazing local organization at Adirondack Brewery Oktoberfest. Tickets are required.
More Fall Fun Awaits at Pumpkin Chunkin’
Later in the fall, you can check out the brewery’s Pumpkin Chunkin’ event, which takes place this year on November 5th. Instead of letting your jack-o’-lantern rot on your front porch after Halloween, bring it to this event and launch it into the woods using a trebuchet! The event also features apple slingshots, bonfires, a food truck, live music and entertainment, and a giant slide and bounce house for the kids.
