Lights at the Lake 2024-2025 in Lake George, NY: A Must-See Holiday Lights Display
Step into a dazzling world of twinkling holiday lights and Adirondack charm at Lights at the Lake 2024, a brand-new, free event in the heart of Lake George Village. From Saturday, November 30, 2024, through Sunday, March 2, 2025, enjoy festive light displays throughout the community.
Experience the Magic of Lights at the Lake
Whether you're a resident or a visitor, this new event in Lake George Village invites you to experience the magic of the holiday and winter seasons.
Lights at the Lake kicked off on Saturday, November 30, 2024, coinciding with the annual Lite Up the Village event.
This walk-through attraction will be open to the public every Thursday - Sunday, 4:00pm-9:00pm, from November 30, 2024 - March 2, 2025.
Special holiday dates and hours (4:00pm-9:00pm) include:
- Christmas Week: December 23-25, 2024
- New Year's Week: December 30-31, 2024 and January 1, 2025
- President's Day Week: February 17-19, 2025
The holiday light displays will be located at some of Lake George's most popular spots (check out the map farther below for specific locations):
- Charles R. Wood Park
- Fort William Henry
- Beach Road
- Shepard Park
Ice Skating at Beach Road
In addition to holiday lights, Lake George Village's new ice skating rink will also be free and open to the public every Thursday - Sunday from December 1, 2024 - March 2, 2025. Ice skating rentals will cost $5.
Ice skating hours are as follows:
- Thursday, 4pm to 8pm
- Friday, 4pm to 8pm
- Saturday, 12pm to 8pm
- Sunday, 12pm to 6pm
The ice rink will also be available all week from 12pm to 8pm during:
- Christmas Week
- New Year's Week
- President's Day Week
Lights at the Lake Map & Parking Info
The above map indicates where you can find the light displays - primarily in Charles R. Wood Park, but also at Fort William Henry and Shepard Park. The skating rink is at the Beach Road parking lot.
Street parking is available for Lights at the Lake, and you can park on Elizabeth Little Boulevard, the road in between Charles R. Wood Park and Lake George Battleground Campground on the above map.
Note, Elizabeth Little Boulevard may still be under its prior name, West Brook Road, in your GPS system.
