Pack up the kids and head out for Thurman, just 20 minutes from Lake George Village. This annual event showcases working farms, some dating back 200 years, with vintage farm implements, and some newer operations that boast modern structures with shiny stainless steel hi-tech equipment. Find and print your directory online, or pick up one in town to self-guide to nine unique sites for free open houses with ag-citing activities for all ages.
