The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce once again brings us HalloweenFest, running this year from October 22 to 31.
Friday, October 21
6pm - 8:30pm: Witches Dance Practice & The Witches (Movie)
Watch as the Adirondack Witches Coven prepares for their Halloween parade, then sit back, relax, and enjoy a showing of The Witches at the farmers market location behind Glens Falls Naitonal Bank. Refreshments will be available. Rain location will be at the Ticonderoga Elks Lodge.
7pm: Haunted Hancock - Ticonderoga Historical Society
A look at the darker side of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain, and all that goes "bump" in the night!
Saturday, October 22
1pm: Joseph DiDonna Magician
Happening at LaChute Hall in the Ticonderoga Community Building, come out for this Halloween-themed magic show!
6pm - 7:30pm: Monster Mash Dance Party
Happening at Ticonderoga Elementary School, you can expect Halloween music, games, crafts, a concession stand, and a costume contest. All children must be accompanied by an adult. $2 for kids and $3 for adults. Email ticonderogapto@gmail.com for more info.
Saturday, October 29
11am: Black Watch Memorial Library Children's Program
There will be Halloween stories, pumpkin pie playdough, fun crafts, and snacks.
3pm - 5pm: Hague Trunk or Treat
Come to the Hague Trunk or Treat at the Hague Community Center Parking Lot.
6:30pm - 8:30pm: Pumpkin Walk & Campfire
The Pumpkin Walk & Campfire takes place at Bicentennial Park. Jack-o-lanterns will be displayed around the park. Pumpkins are donated by local farmers and are being carved by local school children and community members. If you'd like to carve a pumpkin for the event or volunteer, contact the Co-Op. Hot cider and treats will be available for purchase.
7pm - 8:30pm: Haunted Trail
The Ticonderoga Elementary School Nature Trail gets haunted. $3 kids 12 and under, $5 adults.
Sunday, October 30
9am: Zombie Run
Run a mile in a scary costume! The run starts at the Ticonderoga Central School Track and Field. $5 per runner. Medals will be awarded.
Monday, October 31
3pm - 5pm: Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Ticonderoga
Candy will be given out by participating businesses and organizations as well as at the Ticonderoga Community Building. The Adirondack Witches Coven will perform a fun-filled Halloween dance at 4:30pm on Montcalm Street. Montcalm Street will be closed from Sunshine Laundry to 1888 Building/Ticonderoga Heritage Museum, from just before 3pm to 5:15pm. No rain date.
4pm - 6:30pm: Crown Point Trunk or Treat
A Trunk or Treat will take place in Veterans Park in Crown Point. Decorate your car or dress to hand out candy.
