Editor's Note 7/30/20: Rafting, tubing, and the Adventure Trail at Ausable Chasm are currently postponed for the 2020 season, but visitors can still enjoy all of the property's hiking/walking trails, as well as the Riverwalk. Admission tickets must be pre-purchased.

Over 10 million visitors have explored Ausable Chasm, the oldest natural attraction in the USA (est. 1870)! The amazing sights of the chasm will take your breath away. Enjoy walking along the towering cliff walks in the midst of a primeval forest that peers into the chasm from many scenic overlooks and vistas. Descend 150 feet into the depths of the chasm to walk along the famous Inner Sanctum trail that has amazed guests for nearly 150 years! Sturdy walkways, bridges and stairs make this adventure possible - a unique experience that is not to be missed!

Make it a "Classic Tour." After a minimum one-mile walk through the Chasm, sit back and relax while an experienced guide takes you on a scenic float through the lower chasm on the legendary Ausable River with your family in one of our custom rafts.  Tubing can be substituted for a one-of-a-kind adventure, weather/river permitting, height restrictions apply.

NEW: The Adventure Trail.  Strap on a harness and explore a previously inaccessible region of Ausable Chasm!  This professionally guided and extremely unique via ferrata features cable bridges, cargo net climb, edge walks and more.  Crisscross the raging Ausable River and scale the chasm walls all while in a breathtaking and unique environment.  Available to guests 8+ years old making this a true one-of-a-kind family adventure.  Make it a Premium Package by combining the Classic Tour and the Adventure Trail and receive a $9/adult discount.

Lantern Tours. Can't make it during the day? Want to view the chasm by lantern light? This is for you! This two-hour guided adventure will showcase the famous Inner Sanctum Trail and includes a marshmallow roast on Table Rock, deep inside the chasm!
