Opening at the Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center on Friday, November 21, Kringle Kottage offers two distinct ways to enjoy the magic of the season:
- Sensory-friendly Santa appointments, available Tuesdays through Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Public visiting hours, open to all on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again December 21 through 23 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Each option provides a warm, festive setting where guests can enjoy the spirit of the holidays at their own pace.
Enjoy Personal Time With Santa
Kringle Kottage is a peaceful, individualized alternative to noisy, high-traffic Santa experiences. Families can reserve a private, 15-minute appointment for their child or loved one to meet Santa in a calm, sensory-considerate setting.
Sensory-friendly appointments are available:
- Tuesdays through Thursdays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Fridays and Saturdays: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
These sessions are reserved specifically for guests with sensory sensitivities or special needs. During booking, caregivers can provide information to help tailor the environment, like adjusting lighting, sound, and décor to suit each guest’s comfort level.
Santa and his volunteer elves receive specialized training to ensure that every child and adult feels safe, welcomed, and celebrated.

The Kringle Kottage feels like it was transported directly from the North Pole. Situated on the grounds of the Fort William Henry Hotel, the charming holiday cabin features frosted windows, a fireplace, dormer rooflines, and a whimsical train gliding overhead.
