Tee Off & Dine: Lake George Area Golf Courses With Restaurants

A day on the green is even better when it ends with a delicious meal. You won't have to go far to find both - check out these Lake George area golf courses with restaurants, all of which are within 45 minutes of the Village.

The following Lake George and Saratoga golf course are all public courses, except two are semi-private where noted.

Top of the World Golf Course & Top of the World Restaurant

Location: 441 Lockhart Mountain Road, Lake George, NY 12845

Set on the side of French Mountain, Top of the World Golf Course offers breathtaking views of the Adirondacks and an 18-hole layout that challenges golfers of all skill levels. The course also features on-site lodging, making it a convenient spot for a weekend golf getaway.

The Top of the World Restaurant & Grill lives up to its name. Diners can expect fresh, locally sourced, seasonal fare. It’s a versatile restaurant - perfect for grabbing a wrap or sandwich like a turkey BLT wrap or Reuben during a quick lunch, or settling in for a relaxed evening with entrées like Philly cheesesteak or burgers. Starters include chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, and hearty salads like Cobb or Caesar.

Airway Meadows Golf Club & Clubhouse Tavern

Location: 262 Brownville Road, Gansevoort, NY, 12831

A short drive south of Lake George, Airway Meadows Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course spread across 177 scenic acres. Unique touches set it apart - there’s a small airport on the property, so you may see planes taking off or skydivers landing while you play. The course is also home to covered bridges and even a working Black Angus beef farm.

The Clubhouse Tavern has a rustic charm, with antique farm pieces decorating the vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light. Seating for about 60 makes it cozy yet lively. Golfers can enjoy light fare from the tavern menu, along with weekly rotating specials. Six beers on draft, frosted mugs, and a full liquor selection add to the experience. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 5–7 p.m., with changing drink specials and two flat screen TVs to catch the latest game.

Ticonderoga Golf Course & Seymour’s Restaurant

Location: 609 Route 9N, Ticonderoga, NY, 12883

Nestled in the Lord Howe Valley, Ticonderoga Golf Course combines historic charm with natural beauty. Its 18 holes are framed by the Adirondacks, offering a peaceful but challenging day of play. Five Nations Golf mini golf is next door!

And, attached to the course is Seymour’s Restaurant, known for its creative, locally inspired menu and sweeping views of Adirondack sunsets. The restaurant blends comfort food with modern American cuisine - crispy Brussels sprouts, hand-tossed pizzas, hearty sandwiches, fresh seafood like swordfish and salmon, and crowd favorites like steak and fish and chips.

Saratoga National Golf Club & Prime at Saratoga National

If you’re looking for a world-class golfing experience near Lake George, Saratoga National Golf Club is a top choice. The 18-hole course is renowned for its superior customer service, professional lessons, and a well-stocked pro shop.

Equally impressive is Prime Restaurant, with fine dining in an elegant atmosphere,  contemporary American cuisine, and indoor and outdoor seating. The grand patio overlooks illuminated fountains, an infinity pool, and the 18th green - perfect for a summer evening. Guests enjoy live entertainment, Sunday jazz brunch, and signature dishes like the surf-and-turf tempura roll.

As one reviewer put it: “Food was fantastic. I had the salmon - cooked just right with beets and crab. So good.”

McGregor Links Country Club & Hills & Hollows

Just north of Saratoga, McGregor Links Country Club is a historic semi-private course built in 1921. Beyond its 18 holes, the club offers a driving range, pro shop, and lessons, as well as amenities like tennis, pickleball, and a swimming pool.

On-site dining is provided by Hills & Hollows, a year-round restaurant with a diverse menu of over 50 options. Guests can choose from starters like buffalo rangoons, poke tuna bowls, or loaded tots, or enjoy classic soups and salads. Entrees range from chicken and waffles to pasta, mac and cheese, and build-your-own burgers with plenty of toppings. Seasonal cocktails and craft beer round out the experience.

Brookhaven Golf Course & The View at Brookhaven

Surrounded by the southern Adirondacks, Brookhaven Golf Course is a semi-private, 18-hole, par 71 course with lessons and a pro shop available for players.

Its restaurant, The View at Brookhaven, offers exactly what the name suggests - lovely views and a full-service dining experience. The spacious patio is popular in summer, while the interior makes for a comfortable dining spot year-round. The menu is hearty and crowd-pleasing, featuring everything from buffalo chicken mac and cheese to slow-roasted turkey dinners. Guests also love the sandwiches, wings, and generous burgers.

Saratoga Lake Golf Club & The Hideaway

Just minutes from Saratoga Lake, Saratoga Lake Golf Club offers a welcoming 18-hole course that blends rolling fairways with wooded landscapes. It’s a favorite among locals and visitors who want a relaxed yet enjoyable round of golf close to the water.
