Where to Find NA Beer in the Lake George Area: Breweries With Alcohol-Free Options

Non-alcoholic beer has become a regular part of brewery menus, not a side option. As someone who enjoys craft beer but also appreciates having flexibility, I took a closer look at NA beer in the Lake George area and which local breweries are openly sharing information about their alcohol-free offerings.

From Lake George Village to Glens Falls, more places are making room for NA beer and other alcohol-free drinks while keeping the same focus on food, atmosphere, and community. The places featured below offer room to gather and enjoy the brewery experience without alcohol being the main focus.

Adirondack Pub & Brewery (Lake George, NY)

Northern Altitude Beer

Right in Lake George Village, Adirondack Pub & Brewery is an easy stop when staying near the lake or walking around town. The space blends a classic pub feel with a broad drink menu, making it a convenient option during a day or evening in the village.

In addition to craft beer and hard cider, the pub offers cocktails and mocktails, giving non-drinkers more than one option to choose from. One notable NA beer is Northern Altitude, the brewery’s take on a non-alcoholic IPA with a slightly hoppy profile and lactose added for a smoother finish.

This is a place I tend to visit when I’m hungry and want options. The lunch and dinner menu is extensive, and the fish tacos are a go-to for me. Sandwiches, prime rib, and other hearty dishes allow you to settle in for a full meal while enjoying either alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.

Bolton Landing Brewing Company (Bolton Landing, NY)

Bolton Landing Brewing Company sits north of Lake George in the walkable lakeside town of Bolton Landing. It’s a comfortable stop when spending time along the quieter stretches of the lake.

The brewery carries Bero NA beers, with options such as wheat, golden pilsner, and hazy IPA styles available.

When the weather cooperates, I usually head straight for the outdoor deck, then wander around Bolton Landing afterward. Inside seating is comfortable as well. The Cajun fries served with bang bang dipping sauce are a favorite, and the casual food menu makes it a great place to grab a bite before or after exploring nearby shops.

Dancing Grain Farm Brewery (Gansevoort, NY)

Dancing Grain Farm Brewery sits just south of the Lake George region in Gansevoort. The farm-based brewery grows many of its ingredients on site, and that connection to the land carries through the entire experience.

The brewery produces its own NA beer called No-Till, brewed using the same farm-grown ingredients and methods as its traditional beers. It drinks like a pale ale meets a cream ale, with light bitterness and solid malt character that still feels like a beer.

Hop Vista, a non-alcoholic hop water dry-hopped with New York–grown Vista hops, adds another option. The flavor leans bright and aromatic, with notes of honeydew melon, peach, and tropical fruit.

I’ve been here with friends more than once, and it’s the kind of place that naturally turns into a longer visit. Between the open farmland views, the outdoor tables, and a drink in hand, it feels like a fun group outing where everyone can relax and settle in. Food trucks are on site during select occasions, and the open space makes it comfortable to spread out and spend time together.

Northway Brewing Company (Queensbury, NY)

Northway Brewing Company is located in Queensbury, between Lake George and Glens Falls, making it a convenient stop along the way. Non-alcoholic beers are available for guests looking for alcohol-free options.

I like bringing my dog here since the indoor taproom is dog friendly. When I’m sampling the craft beer lineup, I usually order a flight, with Sunrise Session IPA, Scarlet Ale, and Living the Maggie Life standing out for me.

Trivia nights and live music keep things lively, making it a relaxed evening stop for a range of preferences, whether you're drinking alcohol or not.

Mean Max Brew Works (Glens Falls, NY)

Mean Max Brew Works is right in the heart of downtown Glens Falls and has a relaxed, neighborhood taproom feel. While the brewery does not serve food, bringing your own works well given how close it is to nearby restaurants.

I tend to stop here when I’m already downtown. Inside, there’s a large selection of craft beer to browse, plenty of seating, and a comfortable layout that makes it easy to hang out. A small outdoor seating area provides another option when the weather is nice.

Non-alcoholic beers are available, along with other alcohol-free drinks such as craft mocktails, dirty sodas, and lemonades. Weekly events like trivia, darts, and sports viewing give it an easygoing, social vibe.

Common Roots Brewing Company (South Glens Falls, NY)

Common Roots Brewing Company is a popular stop when traveling through the Glens Falls region. With a large taproom and an expansive outdoor biergarten, it works well for casual meetups and longer hangs alike.

Along with its beer lineup, Common Roots offers non-alcoholic options including hop waters and NA beer. Those drinks fit right into the menu, so no one feels limited when ordering.

I often stop here with my dog to grab a table in the outdoor biergarten. The setup includes separate tables, chairs, fire pits, and a walk-up bar window outside, which keeps things relaxed and social.

Inside, there’s plenty of space around the main bar. Food usually becomes part of the plan here too. The Not-So-Common Burger, a smash-style beef patty with American cheese, kimchi aioli, crispy fried onions, and house pickles on a brioche bun, is a standout. The 10-inch pizzas are also easy to share with another person.

Bandstand Brew Works (Warrensburg, NY)

Bandstand Brew Works is located in Warrensburg, north of Lake George, and leans more toward a brewery-restaurant experience. Indoor and outdoor seating give it flexibility depending on the season.

The brewery carries canned non-alcoholic beers from Athletic Brewing, including Upside Dawn, Free Wave, and Wit's Peak, alongside a broader drink menu that includes specialty cocktails.

I usually plan more time here because the food menu goes well beyond standard pub fare. Dishes like seared smoked pork belly, sesame-crusted tuna, cedar plank salmon, Cubanos, gyros, and tacos make it feel more like a full dinner stop. Special events, entertainment, and live music often add to the atmosphere.
