About this event
Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children ages 0–18 who are seriously ill, experiencing trauma, or otherwise in need of comfort.
At this gathering, you’ll meet JoAnne Marcario, our local Project Linus Chapter Coordinator, learn more about how Project Linus works, hear where the blankets go, and find out how you or your group might get involved.
This is not a sewing class, and no sewing experience is needed.
There are many ways to participate, including:
- Sewing blankets or quilt pieces
- Tying fleece blankets
- Helping with layout and preparation
- Donating materials
- Participating as part of a school, scout, youth group, honor society, or other service project
We especially welcome individuals and groups looking for meaningful volunteer or service opportunities.
Come learn more, ask questions, and see whether this is something you’d like to be part of.
No commitment required. No sewing experience required.
💛 Free to attend — registration appreciated so we know how many people to expect.
Event times and information subject to change and not guaranteed.
