About this event
Downtown Glens Falls’ annual Hometown Holidays event, organized by the Glens Falls Collaborative and sponsored by the Glens Falls Business Improvement District.
Santa Claus will parade around town on Friday December 2 beginning at 5:30 p.m. There is a map showing Santa’s parade route posted on the Glens Falls Collaborative’s website (www.glensfallscollaborative.com). Children are encouraged to come outside and wave to Santa! If the route doesn’t go down your street, you can check the route for another place to watch as Santa goes by.
The annual Downtown Tree Lighting will take place on Friday, December 2, around 6:15 p.m. Mayor Collins and Santa Claus, along with other Holiday friends, will kick off the season by lighting the Downtown Glens Falls tree. Join your friends and neighbors as we celebrate the start of the season.
Have your children written their letter to Santa yet? A mailbox for letters to Santa will appear in front of Glens Falls City Hall on Friday, December 2. Families are invited to drop their letters to Santa in the mailbox and they will be delivered to Santa at the North Pole.
ADK Christkindlmarkt will be in Downtown Glens Falls! Over 30 vendors, Holiday friends, music, food and drink and more will be found in Downtown Glens Falls from Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 4, 2021.
