Come Out for the Best 4th in the North!

On 4th of July, you won't want to miss the Best 4th in The North - Ticonderoga's ever popular town-wide Independence Day celebration. The celebration draws visitors from near and far and includes a parade, live music, stunning Adirondack fireworks, and so much more!

The theme for the 2019 Parade and Celebration is “50's & 60's Music.”

Schedue of Events

Sunday, June 30th

8pm to 11pm: Downtown Block Party - music and dancing, Star Trek Original Series Set Tour Parking Lot, music by Doc Entertainment. No alcohol allowed. Sponsored by Star Trek Original Series Set Tour.

Monday, July 1st

4pm to 10pm: Food, vendors, and rides in Bicentennial Park. Bracelets $25 from 5pm to 9pm. Look for new rides and more! Portion of proceeds to benefit the Best 4th in the North.

6pm to 9pm: Undertone - hard and alternative rock.

Tuesday, July 2nd

4pm to 10pm: Food, vendors, and rides in Bicentennial Park. Bracelets $25 from 5pm to 9pm. Look for new rides and more! Portion of proceeds to benefit the Best 4th in the North.

6pm to 10pm: Willie Playmore Band - classic and modern rock.

Wednesday, July 3rd

4pm to 10pm: Food, vendors, and rides in Bicentennial Park. Bracelets $25 from 5pm to 9pm. Look for new rides and more! Portion of proceeds to benefit the Best 4th in the North.

4pm to 10:30pm: Touch a Truck & Kids Construction Zone in Bicentennial Park (across from LaChute Falls. Walk through the covered bridge via the park). Equipment, culvert tunnel, treasure dig, rock painting, raffles, ice cream, and more. Will be accepting supply donations as well. Sponsored by Armstrong Inc. Proceeds to benefit Pat Armstrong Scholarship Fund.

4pm to 7pm: Fire Fighter Competition. Area firefighters come together to compete in the "Fire Fighter Games."

6pm to 10pm: Grit n Whiskey - country and modern country.

Thursday, July 4th

10:30am to 11pm: Food, vendors, and rides in Bicentennial Park. Look for new rides and more! Portion of proceeds to benefit the Best 4th in the North.

10:30am to 1:30pm and 3pm to 8pm: Touch a Truck & Kids Construction Zone in Bicentennial Park (across from LaChute Falls. 1:30pm: Montcalm Mile/Parade Route to close light at Wal-Mart entrance along Wicker Street and Montcalm Street to Tower Avenue.

1:45pm: Annual Montcalm Mile - Montcalm Street, downtown. Brought to you by the LaChute Road Runners. Cash prizes. 

2pm: Fourth of July Parade - Montcalm Street, downtown. 2019 Theme 50s and 60s Music. Grand Marshal James Cawley. Parade in honor of: Richard Mattison. Announcers: Angela Brown and Mark Barber. Bandstand will be located in front of Star Trek Original Series Set Tour.

7:30pm to 11:30pm: Joe McGinness & Band - country, rock, and original.

9:45pm/dusk: Grand Fireworks Display by Santone World Famous Fireworks. The time is approximate. The actual time is based on weather and safety conditions.
