Overnight camp is one of the quintessential summer experiences that help young girls grow and expand their horizons. Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York offers a unique overnight summer camp at Hidden Lake Camp, just three miles from Lake George.
About Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York's Camps
Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York (GSNENY) is a youth organization that serves over 10,000 girls and their families across 15 counties in New York State.
GSNENY offers two overnight summer camps in Lake George and the Adirondacks, as well as day camps in East Greenbush, Galway, and Queensbury. These camps are one of the many ways GSNENY offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.
A Summer Camp Paradise at Hidden Lake Camp
An appreciation for nature, skills that will last a lifetime, and extraordinary friendships are just a few of the benefits Girl Scouts get from an overnight summer camp. At Hidden Lake Camp, there are two mountain hikes within the property as well as a large private lake.
Campers make the most of activities like swimming, boating, paddling, archery, hiking, arts and crafts, low and high ropes course elements, and team-building activities. Meals are served family-style in the dining hall, or the girls can learn how to prepare a meal right over the campfire.
