About this event

Award-winning fiddler Mari Black ignites the stage with the pulse and passion of Celtic music. The trio delivers soaring jigs, fiery reels, and cherished airs—honoring tradition while exploring new sounds with electrifying energy and irresistible stage presence.

A two-time U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion, Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion of Scotland, and two-time Maritime Fiddle Champion of Canada, Mari Black brings extraordinary virtuosity and heartfelt storytelling to every performance. Joined by her dynamic Celtic band, she invites audiences into a high-energy, dance-driven celebration that both honors centuries-old traditions and pushes the music forward with fresh, contemporary flair.

This event is part of the World Music Wednesdays Series, which includes Christine Tassan et les Imposteures (July 8), Mari Black Celtic Trio (August 5), and Medusa (August 19). Save when you buy a series subscription that gives you access to all three performances.
