It's Time To Visit Lake George by Mary Giella

LG 011012.jpgBring your mittens, boots, snowmobiles, skis, and sleds!  Lake George is expecting 3-5 inches of snow for tonight and tomorrow morning with more to follow on Friday!  Higher amounts of snow will fall north of Lake George - Gore Mountain will probably see 8 or more inches.  It's going to be a great winter wonderland holiday weekend.  Hop on the snow train in Saratoga - train leaves Saratoga at 7am and arrives in North Creek at 9:20am - have a fun filled day before boarding the train back to Saratoga.  For more info and fares, visit

This is a picture of Lake George taken yesterday from Beach Road - it won't look like this for long.  The temperatures are dropping just in time for the Lake George Winter Carnival held weekends in February.   It's Time to Visit Lake George - see you soon ON the Lake!
