Just past Million Dollar Beach on Route 9L is the little known Usher's Park Beach. This very safe, free beach is quieter and ideal for parents with small children who are concerned with safety.
Diamond Island is a small picnic island on Lake George, it is the southern most island and closest to the village with 4 picnic areas with charcoal, grills, fireplaces and tables.
This beach is open to the public from 7:00am - 10:00pm every day during the summer. Lifeguards are on duty weekdays from 9:00am - 5:00pm. $5 parking fee. Enjoy a tennis court, basketball, picnic table, grills & a pavilion!
About 2 miles north of Glen Island on the east side, you'll find Black Mountain Point which is also a great picnic spot; it's a little further north than Sarah and Hazel.
West Dollar Island is a day use island with docking and picnic areas. Well known for the cliff jumping by area boaters and by East Dollar Island campers.
Odell Day Use Island is located in the Narrows just north of Sabbath Day Point and has two sites that are ideal for a picnic complete with grill, fireplace and picnic table. Open 9am to 9pm
