7:00 am - 10:00 pm Lifeguard on duty 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Parking $5. Basketball, docks, picnic tables & grills, playground, and pavilion. Located 1/2 mile north of Roger's Memorial Park Beach. Map is not exact.
The park is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. and the beach is open from 11 a.m. ? 7 p.m. The Washington county beach at Huletts Landing is the only free public beach on Lake George in Washington county.
In the heart of the village, behind the fountain and the outdoor stage, you will find the most popular "free" beach... Shepard's Park Beach with public restrooms and playground.
Just past Million Dollar Beach on Route 9L is the little known Usher's Park Beach. This very safe, free beach is quieter & ideal for parents with small children who are concerned with safety. Has picnic area, tennis courts, playground & restroom.
This beach is open to the public from 7:00am - 10:00pm every day during the summer. Lifeguards are on duty weekdays from 9:00am - 5:00pm. $5 parking fee. Enjoy a tennis court, basketball, picnic table, grills & a pavilion!
Late June - August: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. Access the beach behind the South Glens Falls DPW off of Saratoga Avenue (Route 9). Sandbar offers a picnic area at the beach and is for swimmers and beach-goers. You can also rent the pavilion at the rec park.
Monday-Friday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Weekends: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
The Saratoga Spa State Park Pools, about a half hour south of Lake George, consist of the Victoria Pool and Peerless Pool.
Gurney Lane Pool is just 15 minutes south of Lake George. The large outdoor swimming pool w/diving area has a beautiful bathhouse & a children's play area as well as picnic area w/ BBQ grills. Children under 5 and seniors: Free. 5 years & older: $4.

Warrensburg, NY just five miles north of Lake George has a small sandy beach, picnic area and playground in a quiet area north of the village.
Late June - Labor Day. Free. Take Exit 21 (the Lake George Exit) and go WEST on Rt. 9 off the exit away from Lake George. Continue 9 miles and you will see the beach on the left.
Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day
Located just off exit 17S of the Adirondack Northway. In 2005, it was named one of Reserve America's Top Outdoor Locations. It is a small lake with a sandy beach, snack bar and pavilion / picnic area.
Known by locals as the dog beach the stretch of beach between the Lake George Steamboat Company and Million Dollar Beach is not an official beach and it is posted no swimming or wading, many people bring their dogs to play in the water or picnic.
