I can’t believe it is December, and 2015 is rapidly approaching. I hope all of my readers enjoyed a very blessed Thanksgiving! Over the long holiday weekend, I was going through some old photo albums. Even in this digital age, I still enjoy holding a regular picture, and the albums selected usually corresponded with the theme of the photos. One album belonged to my grandmother, and it was labeled as “Lake George 1999.” It was so much fun to look at those pictures, but at the same time, it was bittersweet. Some of the family members from that year have passed on, and the kids are so much bigger now. Part of the reason for beginning this blog was to create a tribute to my relatives who are no longer with us, but whose spirits are definitely felt when we are in the Adirondacks. I look forward to sharing more of these memories from past adventures and new experiences to come!
