Spotlight on the Up Yonda Butterfly Farm
| On our trip to the Butterfly Farm, I brought a one year old, two year old, five year old and 9 year old. They all had a blast and learned something! First we stopped at the pond and found pollywogs, fish and frogs, then we hiked to the Butterfly Tent (see photo). |

Butterflies were everywhere, the children loved to imitate them and chase from flower to flower. There were so many that the children were sure that one would land on them. |

The Farm has a museum, a sugar house, where the children learned how maple sugar is made, a constellation dome where a very informed guide taught the children (and myself) about the stars. This is a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommended. The farm is located in Bolton Landing, 1/2 hour north of Lake George Village.
