The Black Fly: KidsTales

The Hyde Collection and Art in the Public Eye (APE) are offering their popular Black Fly storytelling event — with a youthful twist. Students in grades 6 and higher are invited to participate in Black Fly: KidsTales on April 19.

Participating students are expected to tell a true story from their lives in ten minutes or less, from memory without notes. Representatives from The Hyde Collection and APE will help selected students prepare their stories for public presentation.

Interested students should submit a summary of their stories to ArtisticDirector@ArtinthePublicEye.org. Students will be contacted within a week with feedback on their stories and to schedule a rehearsal time at The Hyde Collection.
