Head to the Vermont State Fair for fun, food, and entertainment! Enjoy a petting zoo, harness racing, demolition derby, truck pulls, and so much more!

This year's entertainment includes:

  • Tuesday 8/15 at 7:30pm Wodbooger Team Demo Derby
  • Thursday 8/17 at 7:30pm Qualifying Hearts
  • Saturday 8/19 at 7:30pm Qualifying Hearts & Feature

Cracked Walnuts will be performing - a nutty washboard-banjo-penny whistle-frying pan duo specializing in old-time music.

Guests can check out the Butterfly Encounter - an interactive, walk-through exhibit with educational demonstrations. Visitors will get to see the life cycle of a butterfly from the egg to the adult butterfly. They also get to learn how to fix a broken wing.

Magician Blaine Gold will be performing.


  • Adults: $10
  • Children (ages 6-11): $5
  • Children 5 and under: Free
  • Senior Citizens: $5 on Senior Day, Thursday the 17th, or free with Green Mountain Passport
  • Tuesday the 15th is Five Dollar Day - $5 general admission for adults, kids 5 and under are free
  • Free parking on fairgrounds
