Coyote Ecology in the Northeast
A program titled "Coyote Ecology in the Northeast" will be presented by DEC Regional Wildlife Manager Paul Jensen on Wed. February 28 at 7P.M. in the Christine McDonald Community Room of the Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls, NY. This program is sponsored by the Southern Adirondack Audubon Society and is free to the public.
Mr. Jensen oversees and is responsible for implementing a diverse wildlife program out of the DEC Ray Brook office. He will present information on coyotes-from the history of their expansion into the Northeast in the 1930-1940's to the current research on urban/suburban populations, population genetics, impacts on prey populations and interactions with other carnivores.
