So Much to do on a Rainy Day!

Yes, even during your long-awaited vacation, it can rain, but there?s plenty to do in Lake George no matter what the weather!

There is so much to do in this area when it's raining?you can still have loads of fun! When it's just lightly sprinkling, here are our top picks: Shopping the outlet malls and the village, or hit a bar that has musical entertainment and dance the day away!

In any kind of rain, golfers will enjoy the indoor golf simulators at the outlet malls, while the shoppers in the group scour the stores for bargains. A favorite activity for children ? and parents - is the Lake George Fun Spot. Laser tag, arcades and roller skating, a bounce house and toddler play area make this the perfect place for kids to have some fun when they can?t get outside!

Looking for some exercise? The Glens Falls Civic Center has indoor walking, and ice skating is available indoors also at the Lake George Forum. Glens Falls has a wonderful YMCA where you can play basketball, jogging, indoor swimming or using the exercise equipment. The area offers all kinds of museums including art museums, children's museums, horse racing museums, bottle museums, automobile museums and the ever-popular House of Frankenstein Wax Museum! For the arts and crafts lover, the area boasts two make your own pottery places and a make your own jewelry and beading store!

Lake George is an ARCADE destination with two fabulous arcades in the village offering every possible game a child (or adult) would like to play. The Fun Spot in nearby Queensbury also has a nice arcade near the laser tag area. Kids can be kept happy in the arcades for hours.

Rainy forecast? Not to worry ? you?re on a Lake George vacation!
