Memorial Day Weekend at Silver Bay YMCA

You don’t need to be a Y member to get in on the weekend-long festivities happening at Silver Bay YMCA for Memorial Day. Enjoy a variety of activities like hiking, archery, horseshoes, disc golf, carnival games, trivia, and more, plus fireworks on Saturday.
Lake George Memorial Day Parade
May 27
The Lake George Memorial Day Parade proceeds along Beach Road and up Canada Street to Shepard Park, with a Memorial Day ceremony to follow.
Hague Memorial Day Celebration & Funfest

The 20th annual Memorial Day Celebration in Hague encompasses a parade and a fun fest in Hague Town Park. There will be food vendors, fun for kids with Penelope the Clown, games for the whole family, a caricature artist, and live music.

The Memorial Meltdown music festival returns to Charles R. Wood Park this weekend, with four bands playing each day, and Twiddle playing two sets per day. See who else is performing, and get tickets now!
Memorial Day Weekend at Fort Ticonderoga
May 27 & 28
Fort Ticonderoga will honor the service of American soldiers who fought and sacrificed on their very grounds. Come out to walk the Fort’s beautiful property, check out King’s Garden, and learn about what the life of a Continental Army soldier was like in 1777.

While you’re heading north up Lake George to Hague, Silver Bay, or Ticonderoga for the above events, stop by the Bolton Art & Craft Festival. About 25 artists and vendors will be in attendance.

The Warrensburg Bike Rally starts this weekend, just ahead of Americade, which begins on Tuesday. Check out all the motorcycle action at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Warrensburg.
Memorial Day Ceremony at Battlefield Park
May 29
The Lake George Battlefield Alliance hosts their annual ceremony at the monument for the four unknown soldiers in Battlefield State Park. A musket salute and prayer will follow, along with refreshments and a guided historical tour of the park.
