Here Are All the Ice Bars Happening This Weekend
January 27 – 28
The Sagamore Resort welcomes guests and the general public back to the Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge for their second and final weekend. They’re going with a theme this year of “Arctic Wild” – there should be some great ice sculptures!

Adirondack Brewery brings back Funky Ice Fest, also for their second and final weekend. You can expect local beverages, food specials, and of course ice sculptures.
Polar Pub Ice Bar & Mystic Light Trail

While Ice Castles won’t open until February 3, the newest attractions at the winter-ific destination are ready to be previewed by the public for free. Check out their Polar Pub Ice Bar and Mystic Light Trail at the Charles R. Wood Park Friday or Saturday!

The Lagoon is hosting an ice bar for the first time this year, and it opens on Friday. This ice bar will be open every weekend through February 26 – it will be cool to be able to check out an ice bar and the Winter Carnival on the same day.

Like Adirondack Brewery and the Sagamore, the Gem is hosting their second and last ice bar of the season. They’re featuring champagne cocktail specials and will have an outdoor fire pit.

Lake George Winter Carnival Gala
January 27
This annual fundraiser for the Winter Carnival will be held at the Brasserie at Bayside Resort and will include live music, great food, and a silent auction. Tickets are $65.

Stews & Brews is back in Lake George! For just $10 you can get a 10 oz bowl of homemade soup or stew in addition to one local draft beer; or, just pay $5 for the stew. There are 13 participants, and all but one are in Lake George.

Stick around after your stews, brews, and ice bar fun for fireworks in the Village Saturday night!

The fourth annual Gurney Lane 5K Snowshoe Race is this Sunday, and there’s also a Fat Tire Bike Race happening later on in the day. Come get in on one of the races, or check out the fat tire rides and demos that will be going on.
