Warren County Gears Up to Celebrate Arbor Day
Warren County is offering Arbor Day programs to schools and organizations throughout the community this spring. Get a tree to plant, learn about the holiday and the benefits of trees, and the County will even help you plant the tree!
This year they’re offering 8- to 12-foot sugar maples or 5- to 6-foot white spruces. Participants will pick a location, select the tree species, and pick a date between May 1 and 31 (Arbor Day falls on April 29). Those interested need to apply by April 14.

Bullpen Tavern/Talk of the Town Owners Purchase Stake in Hague Marina
Foothills Business Daily reports that the four Glens Falls natives who own the Bullpen Tavern and Talk of the Town in the City have bought 75% of Dockside Landing Marina, located in Hague. The remaining 25% stays with current marina managers Scott Olson and Rich Stolen.
Paulie Bricoccoli, Jr., Scott Endieveri, David Krogmann, and Jason Krogmann told the publication they’d been thinking of making such a purchase for three or four years, and the timing was finally right. Now, they’re “easing into the purchase.” The price was not disclosed.
