Each year Adirondack Winery looks forward to raising funds for the Drink Pink Campaign. For 2021, President and Co-owner Sasha Pardy announced a super ambitious goal to support Making Strides of the Adirondacks!
Let’s Raise More Than Last Year!
Adirondack Winery has declared a $12,000 fundraising goal for their 9th annual Drink Pink breast cancer awareness fundraiser; this would be $1,000 increase from the $11,000 they raised in 2020.
“In the nine years that we have done the fundraiser, I have spoken with so many customers and employees who have had their lives directly impacted by breast cancer,” Pardy said in a statement. “Beyond giving us an opportunity to raise money for a very worthy cause, Drink Pink is our chance to rally behind those in our community who need our support, to let them know we’re in their corner.”
Drink Pink, Eat Pink & Craft Pink
A portion of nearly all sales from October 1 to 31 will be donated to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Adirondacks chapter. A variety of special Drink Pink-themed items will be available during this time, including the Drink Pink Berry Breeze wine, and a pink version of the ADK Foodie Plate available at tasting rooms. There are also three Drink Pink Events, two candle-making events at the Queensbury headquarters on October 16, and one wine glass painting event at the Bolton Landing location on October 22.
Support Local Breast Cancer Patients
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are organized by the American Cancer Society. This year’s Making Strides Adirondacks Walk takes place October 24 in Glens Falls City Park. Making Strides Adirondacks provides local breast cancer patients with the support services they need to navigate this difficult journey.
