Lake George Beach Club Reopens This Friday
According to their website, Lake George Beach Club will reopen tomorrow, Friday, May 7. They’re also interviewing for spring and summer positions. Lake George Now Has Its Own Radio Station
A big thank you to Loud Media for launching the first-ever radio station in Lake George. You can expect hit music, local news/weather, and of course, Lake George-related happenings from 93.5. This station is also streaming at LakeGeorgeRadio.com.
Lake George Music Festival Will Bring Back In-Person Concerts
The Lake George Music Festival announced this week the dates for this season: August 18 to 25, 2021. In-person concerts will return, with a option to livestream if the event gets sold out or those interested cannot attend. The majority of the events will take place at the Carriage House on the grounds of Fort William Henry.
These events sell out in a typical year, and will certainly this year as spaces are limited. Patrons are encouraged to purchase early. Season passes are on sale now, and single-event tickets go on sale July 1.
If you’re local: The LGMF is looking for host families for this season. If you’re a Lake George resident who would be open to hosting a musician or two in your home during the August 18 to 25 timeframe check out more info on their website.
Shuttle to Bring Prospective Employees Up to Lake George
As part of the effort to fill hundreds of open positions in the Lake George area, Warren County has teamed up with Tech Valley Shuttle to provide a shuttle this Saturday from Albany, Schenectady, and Troy up to the North Country.
Participants will meet potential employers and community members, to engage in a conversation about Lake George and its needs for the upcoming tourist season.
