The New York State Department of Transportation will be conducting extensive road work on Route 9N in Hague for three months. Here’s what you need to know.
Route 9N in Hague just south of Holman Hill Road will be closed from Monday, February 25th to Thursday, May 23rd following the failure of a retaining wall.
While 9N is closed, drivers will be directed around the work via detours. Any access needed south of Holman Hill Road will be directed to Exit 24 and County Route 11. Any access needed north of Holman Hill Road will be directed to Exit 25 via Route 8.
All homes in the area will continue to be accessible during construction, and trash pickup, local deliveries, and other services will continue as before.
If you have any questions about the road closures you can contact the NYS DOT Engineer-in-Charge, Timothy Farrell, at 518.512.3248 or at Tim.Farrell@DOT.NY.gov.
