There’s no better way to kick off the holiday season than by attending Lake George’s annual Lite Up the Village. This magical holiday celebration features live music, pony rides, a fire truck parade, fireworks, and over 3,500 light displays throughout the community.
Each year, the Ticonderoga community comes together to host the week-long North Country Christmas celebration! From November 24 – December 2, there will be tons of fun and festive holidays events, including Christmas crafts, hay rides, a parade of lights, gift shopping, and more.
Plan a day trip to nearby Salem and experience their 26th Annual Holiday Parade on Saturday afternoon. Come early for the Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt at local businesses from 10:00am-2:00pm. Santa will arrive at the end of the parade.
Take a trip to Lake Luzerne and celebrate the holiday season at the town’s annual tree lighting. Bobby Dick will be the lead caroler and MC, and Santa will greet all the children. Afterwards, the Rockwell Harmon House will have cookies, hot cocoa, and more.
Make your reservations for Fort William Henry Hotel’s Breakfast With Santa on Sunday from 7:00am-11:00am. Admission is $15 for adults and $8 for kids, and there will be a wide variety of delicious breakfast items.

This weekend, Glenwood Manor Antiques & More in Queensbury will present their annual Christmas Open House & Sale. Stop by and check out all the great items for sale on their three floors.
The Shirt Factory’s annual Holiday Open House has become a tradition in Glens Falls. Studios on all four floors of the building will welcome visitors for gift shopping, and guest vendors will be set up in the halls. There will also be a pop-up cafe, a letters to Santa station, and more holiday fun.
It’s time for The Little Theater on the Farm’s biannual barn sale! Visit the local theater in Fort Edward this weekend and browse a great selection of gently used items. You may find some hidden gems for the holidays!
