Food, Drinks & More
Fort William Henry in Lake George has big plans for this weekend! On Friday and Saturday, they will host the 2018 Sutler Fair and Reenactor Meet at the Conference Center. Then, throughout Saturday, some of the other events will include a Vaudreuil’s Raid reenactment, a NYS Craft Beverage Event, and a Buffet Dinner.
Adirondack Winery in Lake George is currently hosting their Wine & Chocolate Week! Stop by and enjoy special wine & chocolate pairing flights with locally-made chocolates and their own award-winning wines.
The first ever Bolton Landing Bear Crawl will be held this Saturday. Participants will visit bars and restaurants throughout Bolton for fun and great specials, including Frederick’s Restaurant, the Huddle Kitchen & Bar, and Cate’s Italian Garden.
The 27th Annual Bands ’n Beans will take place this Sunday at the Roaring Brook Ranch in Lake George. During the event, over 20 restaurants will compete in a chili cooking contest while a great lineup of musicians provides the entertainment.
Maple Sugaring Season
The final weekend of Thurman Maple Days is coming up! On Saturday and Sunday, four local sugar houses in the Thurman area will open their doors for visitors. Activities will be offered at each of the participating sites from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Gore Mountain in North Creek will host their annual Maple Day on Sunday from 10:00am-4:30pm. Stop by for treats from Adirondack Gold Maple farm, maple goodies in the Base Lodge Food Court, and more.

Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls is excited to welcome back the NYS Federation Basketball Tournament this weekend. Join them and watch as some of the most elite high school basketball teams compete.
Looking for a fun way to spend Saturday evening? Go on a trivia scavenger hunt in the Chapman Historical Museum! Search for clues as you learn a little about the museum’s different pieces and collections.
Come watch as costumed competitors attempt to skim across West Mountain’s long pond on skis and snowboards during the annual Slush Cup. The day will also include a fundraiser race on the Face and a cardboard sled derby.
