Winter Season Activities
Visit Gore Mountain’s Nordic Center this Saturday and witness the excitement as cross-country skiers compete in the Gore Mountain JNQ – Classic. There will be multiple races throughout the morning as skiers in different groups race around the area.
Looking to watch some thrilling hockey action? Catch the Adirondack Thunder at Cool Insuring Arena in downtown Glens Falls this weekend! The hometown team will be facing off against the Worcester Railers on Friday night and the Brampton Beast on Saturday night.
Discover why Lake George is the perfect place to tie the knot at the 10th Annual Winter Wedding Show on Saturday. Some of the area’s top wedding pros will be on hand at Dunham’s Bay Resort to answer all of your questions. Admission is free for most of the day’s events.
Live Music & Concerts
Visiting Lake George Village this weekend? Don’t miss Flip-N-Mickeys performing live at King Neptune’s Pub! They’ll be playing all of your favorite traditional and contemporary Irish music.
Join the Ticonderoga Festival Guild as they celebrate the end of the Christmas season with a 12th Night Concert at the Church of the Cross. The concert will be free and open to the public and begin at 7:00pm. Enjoy light refreshments after the program.
A special New Year Piano Musicale will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Glens Falls and feature ten pianists, ages 7 through adult. They’ll be performing works by Bach, Bartok, Burgmuller, Chopin, and more. A small donation is requested for admission.
Fun For The Kids
On the first Friday of each month, the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls hosts an Art Crawl for babies. This is a fun opportunity for young kids and their caregivers to play and learn in the museum. Admission is free, but a donation is appreciated.
Keep the kids entertained this Sunday by bringing them to Crandall Public Library for a Winter Fun Family Scavenger Hunt. The game will begin at 4:30pm.
