The Lake George Steamboat Company’s final bicentennial year celebration event will be held this Sunday. Drink Pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Weekend – Friday, October 13 – Sunday, October 15
Visit Adirondack Winery in Lake George as they host their 5th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Weekend – Drink Pink! All weekend long, there will be wine tasting sessions, free samples of pink wine, games, prizes, raffles, and more. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Adirondack chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

12th Annual Adirondack Brewery Oktoberfest – Saturday, October 14
On Saturday afternoon, Adirondack Brewery will host their 12th Annual Oktoberfest. Although online tickets have sold out, you will have one last chance to get a ticket during pre-registration on Friday at 5:00pm. Stop by, as there will only be 50 tickets available for $40 each (cash only).
Walker’s Annual Fall Festival – Saturday, October 14
Join Walker’s Farm in Fort Ann for their annual Fall Festival this Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm. Admission is free, and there will be arts & crafts, a bounce house, pony rides, a chicken BBQ, and more activities.
Adirondacon Tabletop Gaming Convention – Saturday, October 14
The Glens Falls Region’s inaugural tabletop gaming convention Adirondacon will take place at the Glens Falls Elks Lodge this Saturday. This 12-hour long convention will feature organized games and game demonstrations, an open gaming area, raffles, door prizes, and more. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for kids under 10.

Need some help getting fit? Stop by Glens Falls City Park on Saturday for FitFest! This fitness-themed event will include sample fitness classes, interactive demonstrations, healthy food for sale, fun contests, live music, and much more. Admission to the festival is free.
4th Annual Food & Farm Festival – Sunday, October 15
Don’t miss out on the Glens Falls Food Co-Op’s 4th Annual Food & Farm Festival at Glens Falls City Park this Sunday. The food festival will be held from 11:00am-4:00pm, and it will feature food vendors, artisans, nonprofits, demonstrations, children’s activities, live music, and more.

Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake – Saturday, October 14
On Saturday morning, the Lake George Land Conservancy’s Next Generation Committee will host their first ever Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake. This race will be held at Amy’s Park Preserve, and it will bring attention to the Conservancy’s mission to protect local land and open it for recreational opportunities. Early bird registration is $20, and race day registration is $25.
Lake George Free to Breathe 5K Run/Walk – Saturday, October 14
Help raise funds for lung cancer research programs by participating in the 5th Annual Lake George Free to Breathe 5K Run/Walk at Charles R. Wood Park. Registration will begin at 8:00am, and the cost to participate is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event.
