Live Music Performances

Double Vision, Mike Thomas, and PJ Ferguson at the Lake George Beach Club – Sunday, July 9

Want to listen to some great live music while taking in the amazing views of the Lake George waterfront? Grab your friends and check out the Lake George Beach Club this Sunday for three exciting concerts: Double Vision at noon, Mike Thomas at 4:00pm, and PJ Ferguson at 8:00pm.

Tori Marjorie at King Neptune’s – Sunday, July 9

Spend your Sunday afternoon at King Neptune’s in Lake George Village and enjoy a live performance by New England favorite Tori Marjorie. Recognized as a one woman band, Marjorie uses a loop station and multiple instruments to recreate and play popular radio hits as well as her own original tunes. The concert will begin at 3:00pm, and it is free to attend.

Fridays at the Lake: West End Blend with Bobby Dick – Friday, July 7

Ready for another free Friday night concert in Shepard Park? Head on over to the amphitheatre this Friday from 6:00pm-9:30pm for music by West End Blend and Bobby Dick! The evening will also include a craft beer & wine garden, a food caterer, kids’ activities, and more.

Move It for the Music 5K – Saturday, July 8

In the Town of Lake Luzerne, Luzerne Music Center will host the 7th annual “Move It for the Music” 5K Run/Walk in support of LMC scholarships. Runners/walkers will be able to listen to live student performances as they make their way around the beautiful lake. Registration is just $25 per person, and the race kicks off at 8:00am.

Adirondack Theatre Festival: PB&J Cafe – The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe – Friday, July 7 & Saturday, July 8

This Friday and Saturday, Adirondack Theatre Festival will present their PB&J Cafe – The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls. This special show will allow young theatre-goers the chance to order a meal from the cast of characters, participate in a pre-show art activity, and then dine during the live theatre performance of C.S. Lewis’ classic fantasy story.

Lake George Bar Crawl – Friday, July 7 & Saturday, July 8

Want to party with your friends in Lake George Village this weekend? Join up with the Lake George Bar Crawl on Friday or Saturday night! The cost per person is $15, and the bar crawl will include group games and a scavenger hunt with prizes, exclusive drink discounts, and live music and dancing at each bar venue. The meeting site is the Centennial Fountain in Shepard Park.

SummerFest & Fireworks – Saturday, July 8

Although 4th of July has ended, the fireworks displays aren’t over yet! Bring the family over to Chestertown this Saturday for the annual SummerFest celebration at the Chester Ballfield. There will be music and entertainment all afternoon, including face painting, games, crafts, a rock climbing wall, vendors, and more. The festival will conclude with a grand fireworks display at dusk that you won’t want to miss. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or lawn chairs!

Nordesee Auto Show – Saturday, July 8

The brand new Nordesee Auto Show is scheduled to take place at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George this Saturday and Sunday. The show will feature classic and modern Foreign European, JDM, and Imported Automobiles – both cars and motorcycles. The highlight of the car show will be the Parade of Cars on Saturday night. The cost to spectate is $5 per person per day.

Second Sunday at The Hyde – Sunday, July 9

As part of their Second Sundays series, on July 9, admission to The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls will be free to the public. From 1:00pm-4:00pm, visitors can also participate in a special drop-in art program. The topic will be Ellsworth Kelly: Slow Curve, and it will focus on creating patterned artworks to help complete a paper wall mural currently on display in the Rotunda Gallery.
